German high-carbon stainless steel blade with sharpened serrated edge for smooth slices. Heat treated to a hardness of 56+, the steel offers longer edge life for extended sharpness and improved strength.
Wenge wood handle provides long life and extreme durability compared with other wood handles. The handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. Handle is riveted onto the tang of the blade for added strength.
The sharpened serrated edge is designed to have larger valleys between the peaks, and they are sharpened, allowing for a better, cleaner slice without the tearing. Serrated slicers should be used with slight pressure, letting the knife do the work.
